Welcome to the first of many delicious journeys on Tiramisu Treasures! Today, I dove into a cup of tiramisu at a charming restaurant named Loretta, and it left a lasting impression.

The creaminess was spot on, delivering a rich and smooth texture that melts in your mouth. However, it leaned heavily on the cocoa, which, while indulgent, overshadowed some of the other flavours.

The ladyfingers could have used a bit more soaking; they were slightly dry and missed the mark on that perfect melt-in-the-mouth consistency. On the bright side, the coffee flavour was strong and aromatic, providing a robust backbone to the dessert. Given that it was refrigerated, it may have muted some of the flavours, suggesting that the coffee could have been even stronger than perceived.

Although it was chilled, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. In fact, the refrigerated nature added a refreshing touch. Served in a cup, this tiramisu scored high on eatability – easy to dig into and savour each layer.
